Anytime Fitness is the largest health and fitness chain in Australia. As the gym chain expands across Queensland their new gyms need private restrooms and showers so members can freshen up after their workouts.
Working with Brisbane commercial builder FC Building Projects, Slick N Co has developed and refurbished Anytime Fitness centres in Capalaba, Chermside, Logan Central, Keperra, Newmarket, and Southport.
Commercial Plumbing Services
Our Anytime Fitness scope of work has ranged from minor revamps to full-scale renovations and new builds, ensuring each facility meets the highest standards.
These commercial plumbing solutions included:
- Subsurface sanitary drainage systems and pump stations
- Hot and cold water supply
- Fit-off of tapware, toilets, basins, and sinks
- Commercial hot water systems
- Water filtration stations
- Ongoing maintenance service as required
Anytime Fitness Logan Central
Logan Central is the biggest Anytime Fitness we have completed to date. The project required a complete revamp due to the existing facility looking tired and dated.
Slick N Co installed these new services to meet the increased demand at the gym:
- New powder rooms
- Separate shower facilities
- Commercial hot water system
- Sink and water filtration stations
- Cleaners sink
Pump Station Funnels Waste Water
This project required a completely new install of the sub surface under slab sewer drainage. To install the new facilities over a large floor span, the pipework needed a minimum degree of fall to discharge the waste water.
However, the fit out design and the connection point into the utility plumbing services didn’t allow for this. Using our CCTV camera we identified this issue which was presented to the client requiring and alternative solution to be confirmed and the best solution was to install a pump station.
This pump station now allows effluent to discharge safely to the utility connection point which has allowed the project to be completed as intended without major changes to the design and the most cost effective approach.
Anytime Fitness Southport
The Anytime Fitness gym at Southport had ageing plumbing that needed an upgrade. Slick N Co completed the plumbing services to accommodate the growing number of members and increased demand in the area, like the Anytime Fitness project and Logan Central.
Commercial Earthworks
Slick N Co supply our own trucks and excavators for a wide range of commercial earthmoving and civil works where new electrical utilities, plumbing, and sewers will be installed.
For both Anytime Fitness projects at Logan Central and Southport we prepared the new sub surface by removing the existing concrete slabs and soil, and then adding drainage rock. This solution enabled the installation of the sewer drainage systems.
Upgraded Plumbing Services
To bring the services up to speed we installed hot and cold water supply, new powder rooms, showers, sinks, hot water systems, and water filtration stations.
All works were constructed in accordance with Australian Standards including the Queensland Plumbing and Drainage Act 2018, the National Construction Code of Australia (Building Code of Australia), the Plumbing Code of Australia, and approvals by the local authority.
